Shoppers were out in support of Leominster's businesses for the town's inaugural "Independents Day", an initiative to entice people back to the high street.

Crowds flocked to the towns' market in Corn Square to sample and buy local produce, and to its wealth of unique shops to give them a much-needed boost after two years of Covid restrictions.

There were activities on offer for all the family, including a trail for children which took them to different shops in the town on the hunt for clues.
